Rome, Italy

The best story about Italy happened right when we were leaving town for Venice. We were leaving the Sistine Chapel and trying to get to the train station on time. In the interest of time, Dan and Dale ran back to the hostel to get everyone's bags. Dan and Dale entrusted Jamie with their money so that she could go get lunch so that we could eat on the train. She decides to order us what she claims she thought were ham and cheese panini sandwiches. But we looked inside and realized that she had ordered what could only be described as a "fat sandwich." The meat looked like oversized pieces of raw bacon. But unlike bacon, nearly the whole slice of "meat" was pure fat. We poked fun at Jamie the rest of the trip and even made up a card game in honor of the "fat sandwich."
