Interlochen, Switzerland

Switzerland was probably our favorite destination. It's a relatively small town located between two lakes and the Swiss Alps. It was really cold, but also very beautiful. It's a popular place because you can do every possible extreme outdoor activity. The best story about Switzerland involves a really bad cold, a mirror, and Dale's cheek. At this point Jamie had been sick with a really bad cold for a day or so and Dale was naturally next in line to get it. One night he had a really high fever and went from feeling like he was going to freeze to death to feeling like he was on fire. Anyways, he got up to go the bathroom during the night and made it as far as the mirror before he passed out and caught a small metal hook that holds up the mirror with his right cheek. That's why he is wearing a bandaid in some of the pictures. We think he is going to have a permanent reminder of Switzerland on his cheek.

Jamie's favorite part of Switzerland was the chocolate. She had been waiting for months to buy some genuine Swiss chocolate. Let's just say that we spent a small fortune on about every kind of chocolate you can think of.
