Myrtle Beach

We've been married for two years now! Our second anniversary was May 20th, so we went on a weekend get-away to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. My parents have time-share out there, so they were generous enough to share it with us, and we got to spend the weekend with them. This is a picture of one of the pools at the resort. The resort was absolutely beautiful!
FRIDAY
We got there Friday afternoon and took a walk to a pier to see where they fish for sharks. Aren't my parents so cute???

This is the view from the pier. We didn't see anyone catch a shark, but we did see someone catch a stingray.

The happy couple.
SATURDAY
On Saturday we went to a place called NASCAR Speedpark. My parents got some free tickets from our resort, so we thought we'd go check it out. We thought we might get like one free ride, but instead, we got free all-day passes to the park. It was a blast!

We played bumper boats.

And we raced go-carts. Dale was really good...he pretty much always beat me:)

I beat my mom, but she didn't really like racing...she just liked driving the cars around the track:)

Our weekend also consisted of three rounds of miniature golf. The first two games Dad and Dale tied, and I came in dead last, losing by like 15 strokes...I didn't know that you could lose by that much in miniature golf!

But in the third game I made a huge comeback to beat everyone by 5 strokes! We didn't play anymore after that so I could call myself the reigning champ!
SUNDAY
On Sunday (our anniversary), we had a family picnic on the beach. I'm not a big fan of sand, so I stayed on the blanket the whole time.

What a hottie!

My parents are just SOOOO cute! They have more energy than Dale and I combined.

Ladies, feast your eyes on this! Dale will not be happy that I posted this picture, but I couldn't help myself.

Before we headed back to the airport, we visited the Ripley's Aquarium. It was really cool. We got to pet stingrays and see all these cool sharks, but the best part was when Dad tried to pet a stingray and ended up dipping his whole arm up to his shoulder in the water, sleeve and all!

This is back at the airport. We like to do logic puzzles while we're waiting for the plane.
