I Love My Mommy

On April 19th my mom was in a really bad car accident in which she rolled her van down a mountain. I got a call from my brother, who just happened to be visiting my parents in North Carolina at the time, that my mom was in the hospital. They ran a bunch of tests on her, and incredibly, the only things they could find wrong with her were a fractured rib and a bruised spleen, which are two things that must heal on their own over time. She was so lucky to have not sustained more serious injuries, and I thank God for protecting her. Life is so fragile and can be taken away at any minute.

My parents were already planning on selling the van, and they had already ordered a new Jeep Patriot which was supposed to arrive in May or June. Since the van was totalled, they got their Jeep a little early, but my mom was sad because she had ordered a forest green one, and since it wasn't in yet, they had to get a white one...but it still has heated seats, MOM:)
