Ma and Pa Smith

We went to visit our parents in Colorado last weekend. They just bought a new home. It's beautiful, and as they like to say, it has plenty of room for the grandkids! The front of the house has a great view of Long's Peak. The house is in the cute little town of Mead.

This is Dale's sister, Leslie, and her family, JP, Calvin, and Jack. We had a lot of fun with them.
Dale and I both got to practice our baby skills with Jack. I still couldn't get Dale to change a diry diaper though.
Feeding was fun, but burping, well, lets just say I had to change my clothes after I burped him.

We celebrated Dad's birthday while we were out there. Dad let Cal help him blow out the candles.Mom, Dad, Dale, and I visited the Budweiser Brewery for a tour and some free beer.
This was the "chip cellar" part of the brewery...where Budweiser does their beechwood aging.
After the tour of the brewery, we got to see the famous Budweiser Clydesdale horses.

Like I said, at the end of the tour, we got free beer! The only problem is, none of the Smiths are beer drinkers, but we thought we try a bunch of them anyway to see if we found any we liked.

So what did we do with all the leftover beer???

Dale and I being our typical selves...and the doggies joining us in our laziness.We also got to have lunch with one of Dale's old friends and his beautiful family, but unfortunately, we forgot to bring the camera:(
